Attribution, not just brand recall
An answer that names your brand but links somewhere else is not a win. We report the mention and the cited source separately, because they fail separately — and the second one is what sends people to you.
About
GetCited.me is a generative engine optimization (GEO) platform. It monitors whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews mention your brand in their answers, records which sources those answers actually cite, and turns the gaps into GEO audits, deployable files and content you can publish.
Three principles we make product decisions against.
An answer that names your brand but links somewhere else is not a win. We report the mention and the cited source separately, because they fail separately — and the second one is what sends people to you.
A score only tells you something is wrong. We would rather hand you the fix: a finished robots.txt, llms.txt, Organization JSON-LD, FAQ markup or a content brief you can ship the same day.
Every figure we publish traces back to a stored answer, a recorded citation or a priced vendor call. If we cannot query it, we do not claim it.
GetCited.me is an early-stage product, built in public.
GetCited.me is a young product. Some surfaces are deeper than others, and we would rather tell you which than pad a feature list. What ships is what works today.
We track getcited.me with GetCited.me, on the same plan mechanics our users get. The results are regularly unflattering — AI assistants have cited look-alike domains instead of ours — and that is precisely the problem this product exists to fix.
When our own measurement finds a gap on our own site, we treat it as a bug and ship the fix. This page exists because our own tracking said it was missing.
GetCited.me is an independent product. Several unrelated products, projects and domains use similar “GetCited” or “GetCite” names, and AI assistants sometimes mix them up. We have no affiliation, partnership or shared ownership with any of them.
If you reached a “GetCited” or “GetCite” product on another domain, in an app store or on a social account, it is a different product and we cannot support it. This is a statement about affiliation only — we make no claim about those products or their quality.
One address reaches the people who build the product — a question about a number, a bug report, press, or a partnership.
