These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GetCited.me (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service
GetCited.me is a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform that helps businesses monitor and improve their brand's visibility in AI-generated answers. The Service includes:
- Tracking your brand's mentions across AI platforms — Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overview
- Analyzing competitor visibility and market positioning
- GEO audits of your website with prioritized recommendations
- Topic cluster research with keyword and search-demand data
- Generating content briefs, AI article drafts, and community reply drafts
- Automated tracking on a recurring schedule based on your plan
Feature availability depends on your subscription plan.
3. Account Registration
You can create an account with a valid email address and password, or with Sign in with Google. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials and API keys secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate information during registration
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.
4. Plans & Billing
Beta period — paid plans are not yet on sale. Card payments are currently disabled while we complete payment-provider onboarding. During this period the paid tiers cannot be purchased and all accounts run on the free plan. You may join a waitlist to be emailed when paid plans launch: joining is not an order, a reservation, a pre-order, or a price lock, it creates no obligation for you or for us, and no payment details are collected. The prices and plan contents described below apply once paid plans go on sale, and may change before then.
The Service offers three subscription tiers:
- Launch (Free): limited features and limits, no credit card required. Includes tracking on one AI platform and a one-time allowance of AI answer credits.
- Growth: paid plan with expanded limits, all supported AI platforms, daily tracking, and content generation features.
- Scale: paid plan for teams managing multiple websites, with the highest limits for tracking, content actions, and AI article drafts.
Paid plans are billed per website, per month, in US dollars (USD), through our payment provider Paddle, which acts as merchant of record. Adding a paid website increases your subscription quantity; current prices are listed on our pricing page and at checkout. Payments are billed in advance. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice — existing subscriptions are honored until their next renewal date.
If a payment fails, your subscription enters a past-due state. If payment is not completed, your subscription may be canceled and your account reverts to the free plan (see section 11).
5. Plan Limits & Fair Use
Each plan has defined limits, including the number of websites, topic clusters, tracking prompts, competitors, AI answer credits, content actions, article drafts, audits, and community drafts. AI answer credits are weighted per platform (more capable models consume more credits per response). These limits are enforced automatically, and monthly allowances reset with each billing cycle.
Attempting to circumvent plan limits (for example, by creating multiple free accounts) is a violation of these Terms. If you exceed your plan's limits, you will be prompted to upgrade.
6. Automated Tracking
After you start tracking, the Service executes your prompts on AI platforms on a recurring schedule up to your plan's maximum frequency (weekly on the free plan, daily on paid plans; per-topic cadence is configurable). You may pause and resume automated tracking at any time, and run tracking manually.
AI platform responses are inherently variable. We are not liable for variations in AI responses, model updates, or temporary unavailability of third-party AI services.
7. Content & Intellectual Property
Your content: you retain full ownership of all data you provide (website URLs, brand information, prompts) and all content generated for you (article drafts, briefs, recommendations, reports). You may use generated content for any lawful purpose. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.
Our service: the GetCited.me platform, including its design, code, algorithms, and documentation, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the platform.
AI-generated content: drafts and recommendations are generated by AI and provided as-is. We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, originality, or suitability for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all content before publishing it.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Submit URLs of websites you do not own or are not authorized to analyze
- Attempt to overload, disrupt, or exploit the Service, its infrastructure, or third-party AI providers beyond normal product use
- Circumvent plan limits, authentication, billing, or security measures
- Generate spam, misleading content, or content that infringes third-party rights
- Post automatically generated replies to communities in violation of those communities' rules
9. Availability & Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. AI platform behavior may change at any time due to model updates by their respective providers (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity). We do not guarantee specific rankings, citations, mentions, or business outcomes, and we are not responsible for changes in third-party AI behavior or data inaccuracies resulting from AI model updates.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetCited.me shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time from your billing settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period
- Your account then reverts to the free plan
- Your data is preserved, but websites and features exceeding free plan limits are suspended until you upgrade again or remove the excess
Monthly payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact support@getcited.me and we will review your request.
12. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager) gated by our cookie preference center, and infrastructure error monitoring (Sentry). Cookie settings are available at /cookie-settings. If you join the paid-plans waitlist, we email you at launch on the basis of the consent you give in that form, and you can withdraw it at any time. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our data-processing practices.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a way that harms other users or the platform. In case of termination for cause, no refund will be issued. We will provide notice before termination where reasonably possible. You may delete your account at any time; deletion permanently removes your account and data as described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes, we will notify you by email in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
