Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GetCited.me (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms can be accepted only in full; accepting part of them or with reservations is not possible. By accepting them, you confirm that you have full legal capacity and, if you use the Service on behalf of a company, the authority to act for it, and that neither you nor that company is on a sanctions list under decisions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine or under sanctions of the United States, the European Union or the United Kingdom, nor located in a country or region subject to such sanctions. We may ask you to confirm this and refuse access if you do not.

The Service is provided by the individual entrepreneur (FOP) Zidu Linda Petrivna, taxpayer number 3394504883, registered at apt. 46, bldg. 1, 23 1st Tank Brigade St., Chernihiv, 14032, Ukraine ("we", "us"). Paid plans are sold under our Public Agreement (Offer), which forms part of these Terms. If these Terms and the Public Agreement conflict on payment, renewal or refunds, the Public Agreement prevails.

2. Description of Service

GetCited.me is a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform that helps businesses monitor and improve their brand's visibility in AI-generated answers. The Service includes:

• Tracking your brand's mentions across AI platforms - Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overview
• Analyzing competitor visibility and market positioning
• GEO audits of your website with prioritized recommendations
• Topic cluster research with keyword and search-demand data
• Generating content briefs, AI article drafts, and community reply drafts
• An in-app assistant that answers questions about your project's data
• Automated tracking on a recurring schedule based on your plan
• Optional integrations: read-only Google Search Console data, the GetCited.me WordPress plugin, article drafts sent to your WordPress site or Prismic repository, and access tokens for our MCP server

Feature availability depends on your subscription plan.

3. Account Registration

You can create an account with a valid email address and password, or with Sign in with Google. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure, and the access tokens you issue for our MCP server, your own tools, or the WordPress plugin. Each token is shown once, works only within the scopes and websites you choose, and expires within 365 days; revoke any token you no longer use or believe is exposed
• All activity that occurs under your account, including activity by the team members you invite and by the tools and sites that use your tokens
• Providing accurate information during registration

Login credentials are for one person: do not share them, and invite colleagues to your team instead. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account or a token, tell us at once at support@getcited.me.

Team members. On Growth and Scale you can invite colleagues into your workspace. They can work on all of your websites, but always within your plan and its limits; billing, deleting websites or the account, and managing the team remain with you as the account owner. Removing a member, or moving to a plan with fewer team seats, ends access for the members it no longer covers.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

4. Plans & Billing

The Service offers three subscription tiers:

• Launch (Free): limited features and limits, no credit card required. Includes one website, tracking on one AI platform, a one-time allowance of AI answer credits that does not renew, and small monthly allowances for content drafts, audits, and similar actions. A website with a connected GetCited.me WordPress plugin may also receive monthly answer credits under the programme described in section 5.
• Growth: paid plan with expanded limits, all supported AI platforms, daily tracking, team seats, and content generation features.
• Scale: paid plan for teams managing multiple websites, with the highest limits for tracking, content actions, and AI article drafts.

Paid plans are priced per website, per month, in US dollars (USD). You pay in Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH): the amount charged is the USD price converted at the official National Bank of Ukraine rate on the charge date. If your card is in another currency, your card issuer may convert the amount and charge its own fee. Payments are made in advance by card through the internet acquiring service of JSC "Universal Bank" (monobank). Card details are entered on the bank's secure page; we never see or store your card number. Every payment and refund is confirmed by email, and an invoice for each payment is available in Settings → Subscription. Current prices are listed on our pricing page and at checkout. We may change prices with 30 days' email notice; the new price applies from your first renewal after that notice period.

Subscriptions renew automatically every month using a card token stored by the bank. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time in Settings → Subscription; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.

We may also grant a paid plan under a separate arrangement, for example to partners or pilot customers. Such a grant is not charged to a card and does not renew automatically: it lasts until the end date we agree, and then your account reverts to the free plan, as described in section 11.

If a renewal charge fails, we retry it and email you. Your paid access continues for a 7-day grace period. If payment is not completed by then, your account reverts to the free plan (see section 11).

5. Plan Limits & Fair Use

Each plan has defined limits, including the number of websites, team members, topic clusters, tracked questions, competitors, AI answer credits, content actions, article drafts, audits, and community drafts. AI answer credits are weighted per platform (more capable models consume more credits per response). These limits are enforced automatically. On paid plans, monthly allowances reset with each billing period (a few, such as community drafts and page rewrites, on the 1st of each calendar month, UTC); on the free plan they reset on the 1st of each calendar month (UTC). The free plan's AI answer credits are a one-time allowance and do not renew.

WordPress plugin credits. While a website on the free plan keeps the GetCited.me WordPress plugin connected - its credential neither revoked nor expired, and the plugin having reported within the last 30 days - it may receive 40 additional AI answer credits on the 1st of each month. This is a promotional programme with a limited monthly budget, not a part of the free plan: when a month's budget is used up, websites wait in a queue and are served first in a later month; credits from the programme that you do not use in a month do not carry over; and we may change or end the programme at any time by updating this page. Disconnecting or removing the plugin stops the next month's grant. Paid plans do not receive these credits.

Attempting to circumvent plan limits (for example, by creating multiple free accounts) is a violation of these Terms. If you exceed your plan's limits, you will be prompted to upgrade.

6. Automated Tracking

After you start tracking, the Service asks your tracked questions on AI platforms on a recurring schedule up to your plan's maximum frequency (weekly on the free plan, daily on paid plans; per-topic cadence is configurable). Each answer uses AI answer credits, and tracking stops when your allowance runs out until it renews or you upgrade. You may pause and resume automated tracking at any time, and run tracking manually.

AI platform responses are inherently variable. We are not liable for variations in AI responses, model updates, or temporary unavailability of third-party AI services.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

Your content: you retain full ownership of all data you provide (website URLs, brand information, the questions you track) and all content generated for you (article drafts, briefs, recommendations, reports). You may use generated content for any lawful purpose. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.

Our service: the GetCited.me platform, including its design, code, algorithms, and documentation, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the platform.

AI-generated content: drafts and recommendations are generated by AI and provided as-is. We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, originality, or suitability for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all content before publishing it. When you send an article to your WordPress site or Prismic repository, we create a draft there; whether and when it is published is your decision and your action.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Submit URLs of websites you do not own or are not authorized to analyze
• Connect a WordPress site, Search Console property, or Prismic repository you are not authorized to manage
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or exploit the Service, its infrastructure, or third-party AI providers beyond normal product use
• Circumvent plan limits, authentication, billing, or security measures
• Generate spam, misleading content, or content that infringes third-party rights
• Post automatically generated replies to communities in violation of those communities' rules
• Access the Service or collect data from it by automated means (bots, scrapers, scripts), other than through our API, MCP server and WordPress plugin within the tokens you issue
• Decompile, disassemble or otherwise try to obtain the source code or algorithms of the Service
• Build a product or service that competes with the Service
• Engage in phishing, fraud, distribution of malware, or attempts at unauthorized access to systems and data

9. Availability & Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, other than those expressly stated in these Terms or required by the laws of Ukraine. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will run without interruption or errors, or that every error will be corrected. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, fixes and upgrades, and may change, add or remove features. AI platform behavior may change at any time due to model updates by their respective providers (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity). We do not guarantee that your brand will appear, be mentioned or be cited in AI answers or search results, or that its visibility will grow; we do not guarantee specific rankings or business outcomes, and we are not responsible for changes in third-party AI behavior or data inaccuracies resulting from AI model updates. Audits, recommendations, briefs and drafts are recommendations: review them before use (section 7).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by the laws of Ukraine, GetCited.me shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for all claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You shall compensate us for losses, including legal costs, caused by third-party claims arising from data or content you submitted to the Service or from your breach of these Terms, and cooperate with us in settling such claims.

11. Cancellation & Refunds

You can turn off auto-renewal at any time in Settings → Subscription. After that:

• Your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period
• Your account then reverts to the free plan
• Your data is preserved, but websites and features exceeding free plan limits are locked until you upgrade again or remove the excess

The same applies when a paid plan granted under a separate arrangement (section 4) reaches its end date.

Turning off auto-renewal does not refund the current paid period.

Changes during a billing period:

• Adding a website charges the prorated price for the days left in the period, immediately.
• Removing a website refunds the unused days to your card, immediately.
• Upgrading charges the prorated price difference for the days left, immediately.
• Downgrading refunds the prorated price difference for the unused days to your card, immediately.

Prorated amounts are calculated by calendar days. Refunds below the equivalent of USD 1 are waived. Refunds are made in UAH to the same card; the arrival time depends on your card issuer. Other refunds are made only where required by applicable law; contact support@getcited.me. Full details are in the Public Agreement (Offer).

12. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager) gated by our cookie preference center, infrastructure error monitoring (Sentry), and the data exchanged with the integrations you choose to connect (Google Search Console, the WordPress plugin, Prismic). Cookie settings are available at /cookie-settings. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our data-processing practices.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a way that harms other users or the platform. In case of termination for cause, no refund will be issued. We will provide notice before termination where reasonably possible.

You may delete a website or your whole account at any time. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription immediately. Deleting a website - or the account, for all of its websites - revokes the access tokens bound to it (including the WordPress plugin's credential), asks Google to revoke your Search Console authorization, deletes the stored integration secrets, and then permanently removes the data as described in the Privacy Policy. Prismic offers no way for us to revoke its write token, so delete that token in Prismic if you no longer need it.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may change these Terms by publishing a new version on this page with the date it takes effect. For every substantive change (a provision added, removed or changed in meaning), we email account holders a link to the new version and the date it takes effect at least 14 days before that date. Corrections that do not change the meaning (typos, formatting, updated details) take effect on publication without an email. Price changes for paid plans are notified 30 days in advance (section 4). Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree, you can turn off auto-renewal or delete your account before that date.

15. Claims and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. We resolve disputes by negotiation. Send a claim to support@getcited.me, preferably from your account email, stating at least your name or company name, your account email, the circumstances on which the claim is based, and your demand. If the information is not enough, we will ask you to clarify, stating exactly what is missing. We reply within 14 calendar days from receipt of the claim. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is referred to a court under the laws of Ukraine. For paid plans, section 12 of the Public Agreement (Offer) also applies.

16. Final Provisions

• Force majeure. Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by force majeure. The party affected notifies the other party by email within 5 calendar days from the date such circumstances arise.
• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the other provisions remain in force.
• No waiver. If we do not exercise a right or require performance of a provision in a particular case, that is not a waiver of it in the future.
• Electronic form. These Terms are concluded in electronic form, do not require signing by both parties, and have the same legal force as an agreement signed in writing.
• Customer confidentiality. We do not publicly disclose that you use the Service and do not list your name, trademark or websites in client lists, case studies or marketing materials without your separate written consent. We may use only anonymised and aggregated data about the use of the Service.
