GetCited.me's AI Visibility Score is a 0–100 monitoring metric. It combines average per-run visibility score (40%), average share of voice (25%), citation breadth and density (20%), and mention rate (15%) for the selected window.
In plain terms
The per-run visibility input is available only for a correctly identified brand mention. It reflects ranked mention position when present, sentiment, whether the monitored domain is cited, and a limited contribution from the analysis model's estimate.
The citation component rewards unique cited domains up to 20 and unique citation URLs up to 40, weighted 65% and 35%; an own-domain citation adds 10 points to that component, capped at 100.
This monitoring score is distinct from the GEO audit readiness score. One measures observed AI-answer performance; the other summarizes technical audit findings.
Why it matters
The score provides one trendable summary without replacing its underlying components.
Changes should be interpreted with the selected questions, platforms, filters, run count, and score breakdown — not as a universal measure of all AI traffic.
